The 3 types of visits interpreting local maritime history
Guided tour of 45 to 60 minutes on the rowboat shop and the Shipyard
Accompanied by one of our passionate interpreter-guides, you will explore the site while discovering the history of the Shipyard of Saint-Laurent, shipbuilding in the 20th century as well as the artisanal construction of wooden rowboats with the visit of our 1837 rowboat shop. No reservations required. Ponctual and daily guided tours are available.
Audio-guided tour of 35 to 45 minutes of worker testimonials throughout the site
Thanks to our audio guide, immerse yourself in the life of the islanders and the workers of the Shipyard who have several anecdotes to tell you! You will walk through the site to hear different testimonies recounting life in Saint-Laurent when the Shipyard was in operation between 1908 and 1967.
Autonomous visit of 30 to 40 minutes with interpretation panels and our availability for your questions
You can also make your visit to the Maritime Museum independently by reading the many interpretation panels on the site and by coming to ask us questions about shipbuilding and life at that time. We will be happy to answer you.
Groups (adults and children)

Payment terms :
The amount invoiced will correspond to the number of visitors confirmed at least 10 days before the scheduled date of the visit. Everything will be payable by check, credit card or cash on the day of your visit.
Cancellation policy :
Full payment will be due if the cancellation occurs less than 2 days prior to the visit.
Available services at our museum
Our museum institution offers free parking, toilets, a picnic area on the site, a bike rack and we sell beverages.
Launch for kayaks
We also offer the launch of paddle boards and kayaks. For 12$ per person, visitors can launch their paddle boards and access our museum.
Treasure hunt
A free treasure hunt is available everyday for children. After answering a few questions about the maritime history of our site, they can receive a candy.
Accessibility
Our institution has the Kéroul certification, except for the Forest of rails and the toilets, for accessibility to people with reduced mobility. Click on the Kéroul logo for more information.
Pets
Pets, dogs included, are accepted for free in the buildings and on the outdoor site as long as they are kept on a leash.
Renting of the site is available
